Got to agree with Gizzards about Ando. This one market defense will still make me laugh in round 25. Can't wait to see the little blokes of the Cowboys absolute tear shreds off the lonely marker out of dummy half next weekend. It was good to see Mini getting dominated on his kick returns last night too I must add.
As for Mat Rogers, I'm not pissed he signed elsewhere upon his return. The Shire probably holds a lot of memories for him, and it'd probably be a step backward in his life. To say Sludge would want his son to get a hiding is beyond absurd.
I don't think however there will be any problems with us going either soft or hard on Rogers. Off the top of my head no one in our current squad or coaching ranks has any affiliations with the Sharks/Rogers days, with the exception of maybe Dykes. Mat will be treated like any other coastie that dares attempt to penetrate our rock solid defense; with absolute contempt.
On topic to the coaches corner thing, I like the idea. Ricky is one coach who could make this worth while, not beating around the bush and painting a pretty picture to smoke screen the fans. If someone plays like a Neville, expect them to be named and shamed. And blokes who perform well to be given some praise (not too much though). This is another thing that goes to show he wasn't talking crap when he said he wanted to bring more transparency to the club when we signed him.
