G’day everyone,
Just wanted to let you know of a social activity I did last night with our local church group. About 40 of us went to the Marconi Clay Target Shooting Range out on Heathcote Road last night and had great fun shooting clay targets. I’d never handled a rifle or shotgun before but it was great fun. It’s really well organised, good instructors and a great way to spend a couple of hours and have an ale or two afterwards.

It cost us $80 a head last night, this was a group price though and included a BBQ sausage on a roll with onions etc, but you could maybe negotiate a good rate if you get a few along.
When it was first proposed to me, I didn’t really want to go but in the end I’m glad I did! It was great fun.
And don’t worry if you stand in front of me while I’m shooting. With me only hitting 4 of the 25 targets means you are reasonably safe!
