wat is your fav memory of him
was it him punching wayne batrim in the head at the SFS

was it him with his big purple head as he made some tough metres.

every team needs a chris beattie no nonsense enforcer. wish he was back in our pack again.

loved Chris Beattie, they were good years. Unfortunately can never forget that dumb arse late shot penalty on Andrew Johns that totally turned the game when we were well on top and cost us a final and probably a premiership the way Parra played the next week. I don't know if CB has sleepless nights over it though.

Didnt he put a sweet/late shoulder charge on Wendell Sailor that smashed him ovet the sideline in a semi final. Loved him yet he def frustrated fans at times.

He done the same thing to O'Mealy against the dogs as I recall. Somehow the papers got it wrong. I recall O'Mealy attempting numerous shoulder charges but got bounced off a long way everytime. Beattie was an animal on his day.
