Hi guys, I've been viewing the forum for a while & this is my first post on here. I can't recall where I read it last week but there was an article about us possibly signing Chase Stanley from the Drags.

After seeing him play last night although not heavily involved & limited opportunities he showed alot of class, bear in mind he is still only 19 yo, with that try he set up for Sailor, with a brilliant in & away & then the flick pass.

Any thoughts on this relatively cheap signing??

He would be a good signing. He went well last night and has all the skills that Pomeroy hasnt.

They were my thoughts as well teflon, sign him & Morris in the backs along with the kids we have & Poore up front from the drags.

he would be ok but we really need to add atleast 2 class players to our back line, i would suggest a class centre and winger. wolfman and morris would be good

Brett Morris should be our priority signing, in my opinion the form winger of the comp at present.

No way!! His defence is atrocious

Morris or Legg would be of more assistance.

We need an established centre not a person struggling to stay in firsts. Look at all the centres in the game & how big they are. He is no better than Wright, Fergo, Stapleton or Poms so why recruit him.

On the other hand Legg can play Fullback like Morris Thats what we NEED!!!

If not established as a first grade player then we shouldn't sign as we have great juniors in the U20's.

Bakuya is due back & Stapleton has earned his spot & can kick. He is likely to take Covell's place next year and hopefully a big name fullback or Orcher can come in at fullback.

No CHASE STANLEY!!

Mate Chase Stanley would be better than any outside back we have at the club at the moment. He is still young and has plenty of potential to be filled. I'm not saying he should be our only signing, we need a total clean out of our backline, but he would be a great signing along with a couple of the other players mentioned. A backline with Stanley, Morris in the centres, David Williams on a wing and Steve Turner at fullback would be very potent indeed. Would you agree?

I think we’ve had a near complete clean out of our backline? Gone are – Kearney, Misi, Simmo, Poms... with only Covs still there from last year’s semi win against Raiders.

Steve Turner? Wash your mouth out please! That guy is not wanted and would be lucky to cut in C Grade side.

I called for this kid in his debut season, and from memory someone told me the Dragons had him sewn up for a bit.

If he's coming off contract he ought to be looked at.

No Micky Paea
No sooks welcome at our club

In fairness to him he only got up to punch Gallen and then didnt want to go on with it afterwards. It was the media that took hold of it and sooked.

I agree. I think Paea actually acted fine. Had a punch, didn't make a complaint, wanted to leave it on the field and hasn't said anything since. Every other idiot jumped on board including that twit Hodges and blew it right up.
