Sounds like he could be medically retired if it's as bad as it sounds

Not sure how much that helps us SC wise.
I'd say he would be on minimum wage and we have to replace him with someone else (probs on minimum wage).

But at least we would get to fill his spot if the NRL come to the party. I doubt they will thou.

Jayden Nikorima is playing for the Dolphins atm. Maybe we can get Rudolph to have a word to him

Pretty sure we have a major Nikorimas fan on this forum. He should be the one who does the middle-man stuff. Happy days.

I was really hoping that he'd be able to avoid injury and become an unexpected bonus to the club. Poor fella must be feeling pretty down right now.

Not sure how it all works, but will this add to our already worrying salary cap drama? Can we add him into the development squad?

Doesn’t make our cap worse, just wastes a squad spot.
It’s possible his pay was low enough there may be a way to swap him into development and Paterson into squad...

Makes sense. I had it in my head that we’d have to replace him with someone outside of the squad and pay an extra contract.

Nah no reason to have to replace an injured player, he can just sit in the 30 wasting a spot and our limited money. Sucks, but not his fault.

Might have to throw Lichaa a 75 K minimum contract ?

and hold back his development into a future rep superstar? need to give him the roosters contact details post haste, we are their agents afterall. one day they might even pay us

They kindly let us have two of their superstars in the past, Todd Carney (Dally M winner) and James Maloney (Grand Final winner). Maloney helped us a win our first Premiership! And Todd Carney peed in his own mouth!
Only fair they poach every half decent youngster we can develop for the foreseeable future.
