as an example, I would take Frizzell over him, with that I mean age, potential yrs left w/ the sharks, developing capacity etc.

We need to be signing players that improve our team in the areas it is weakest ie scoring points.

Signing 26 year old depth backrowers is pointless

What annoys me the most is that we are actually offering more than one year. He is soft as and would not be any better than what we have now. Yeah, lets sign this nuffy and let Snowden go to Newcastle. We would be way better off using this money to offer Snowden more for longer.

I have a soft spot for Ciraldo, he is a local junior and a solid player but COME ON! He left the Club for the Knights and now they are desperately trying to shed dead wood so they can fit Snowden under the cap and we are going to help them??!! PLEASE??!!

My guess is that Flano wants a Fraser Anderson type of player- Joel Tomkins would have been perfect.

I don't know if there's anyone we could get for 2011, but for 2012 there are guys like Bronson Harrison (expensive), Ryan Hoffman (I think), Joe Picker, Tom Symonds, Adam Blair (super expensive), Dave Tyrrell (maybe) or young guys like Sione Lousi, Taniela Lasalo or Ben Murdoch-Masila.

In our squad, I think Bukuya and Tautai are the most likely contenders for the role. Let's hope one of them grabs it.
