The Thu night show is brilliant in its', Aussie 'take the piss' spirit kind of way, and is slowly but surely opening up Rugby League
to a wider audience.
Women love to see guys take the piss out of themselves, and eachother, in public (God forbid Women would ever do that to
themselves.....or eachother!!), (or watch a TV show that discussed the ins and outs of a Mans' Game).
I miss Sterlo on the panel, but my logical guess as to why he left it, is that he is seeking a position within Rugby League
that will allow him to have a definite influence on the Game of the future, and that he would be unable to do that while
involved with a show that is almost a parody of the Game itself.
Does anyone remember when Sterlo reappeared on the show and told the audience that he (sincerely) felt that
The Footy Show is Paul Vautin?
In the bigger picture, the Thu Footy Show is awesome value. Those who need nitty gritty League info already know where
to go to get it, the Thu Footy Show can pack out an Entertainment Centre......the Sunday show can't.
Both programmes have their value to The Game.
I'll just crawl back into my hole and come up to dribble some more nonsense when required.
