The downer 9s return next year, but in an international format. I reckon he’s a good chance of lining up next to SJ. That NZ team will be a pretty good one too. SJ, Nikora, Tapau, Brandon Smith, RTS... that’s a speedy team.

Look I know we want rep players, but in this case it will be bad for us.

Why all the doom and gloom.
He has said that he loves it at the Sharks.
Bomber has had a lot to do with his development and as long as we are reasonable with our offer there is no reason why he would go elsewhere.
The cap can’t influence us losing a dozen different players.
If it came down to unfortunately choosing between Capewell or Nikora then I’m sure we would keep Nikora.
Besides, I think it would be more like Sorensen that makes room if required.

He’s up this year and hardly banging the house down for a new deal. If he gets one from us and we can only offer Capes 200k Sorensen will be looking at a pretty slim offer you’d think.
Especially if Billy Mags moves up to the bench next year to be Williams backup.

If Johnny Morris gave Nikora his debut in rd 1 & he is off contract end of the year you'd think he has no plan to let him go & will resign him. Hopefully he is just planning to up his wage a bit & wait till later on in the season.
