We still need to give him a competitive offer, just means he won’t take an offer if overs to leave. Can’t rub it in his face.

Also says a lot of Sorensen actually too, good on him for getting behind BHU with a pat on the back

That article is sweet soul music to my ears…..apart from the opening line..

“He is a deep thinker who is passionate about….”

My mind raced straight to the start of the Dirk Diggler exposé, when he was being interviewed by ”Amber Waves” in Boogie Nights.

So many lines….

Sets a good standard for our club with those comments. Hopefully others will see this club as a place where they want to win, not to get paid and go through the motions

I fail to see how he wont be re-signed, it should more or less be a formality at this point. It's a no brainer for club and player

leadership wise hopefully BHU can take over or pick up a bit of the slack post Fifita . 3 years would be an ideal timeframe for a new contract

That will take him to about 30 years of age and provided he stays fit he should still have plenty to offer if we want to extend him again

His manager is still trying to bump up his price by shopping him around.
The dog’s offer was ………..

I actually think we are a better team when he is on the field , you can see he is trying to do all the little dirty work , still more to come .

mixed bag? were we watching the same game? BHU was fantastic, his carries are great and he is murdering shits in defense. teams dont have an answer for him with or without the ball. he is playing with serious gusto

unlucky to be on report for a brilliant tackle, no intent or much force in that arm coming around after initial contact, they better take that into consideration. unfair if he misses a game, it's rugby league ffs

I couldn't see that much is that tackle he was reported for, we deserved to get the ball back from that hit

Playing real hard consistent footy this year

He's always shown glimpses of something "else". Soft hands, offload, destructive run. But they were here & there with an otherwise patchy game.

Now he's built his game. Got a solid stint or 2 in him without reaching too deep in the trick bag. It'll be something to see when it all comes together.

For sure. You just get the feeling he's got a big Fifita style, season defining play in him that he'll pull out in the finals or (dare to dream) the GF.

I for one am surprised just how many good shifts out wide have started with a BHU pass. We were all expecting McInnes and Finucane to do it, but seeing the other middles bust out the passing game is fantastic.

There is also a lot to be said for having everyone healthy and playing lower minutes this year.
