Gee they get going early over there - I know they're only preseason trials, but all three results would have to be classed as upsets, in my opinion.

Indeed mate but i feel that the teams fielded by the teams deemed to be favourites would differ quite a lot to the teams they field in as we get nearer the season but never the less good results for Wakey, Leigh and Fev ....oh and by the way are you anywhere near Mt Cook area of Auckland ???

Mt Cook area of Auckland??? The only Mt Cook I know of in NZ is in the Southern Alps of the South Island, it's NZs highest mountain and approximately 1500km from here! But Auckland is a city built on volcanoes, so it is possible that you have confused the name with one of the many suburbs beginning with the word "Mt", for example Mt Eden, Mt Albert, Mt Roskill, Mt Wellington etc.

More hilly than mountainous...none of the Auckland volcanoes are particularly high, but you can still get a pretty good view out over the city from some of them.

these early season trials seem like a good way to give the lower sides a run against the top sides

Im sure the beers would be on the house when i come over lol as for the World Club Challenge ive often wondered why it isnt the winners of the previous year hosting the next doesnt seem fair the aussies coming over here all the time ??? and if its like last year i believe the Broncos only had one warm up game and that was against us (32 - 6 to Broncos) so not really tough opponents for them

OK Nash sounds good but you had better keep the location quiet for now or half the population of Auckland will be there :D I live on the north shore, only about 20 minutes from Mt Albert outside of peak times...
