should keep an eye over his shoulder with mcinnes on the way

especially if we were to get someone like Brown to play lock

it's like Blayke is being coached or instructed to play conservatively or keep his plays in his pocket and stick to the gameplan/structure. it's hurting his performances and the teams

We need to be a lot more direct in attack in general tbh.

Chad is reasonable at straightening things up to be fair. You don't see a lot of those 'courage lines' anymore... Nikora, nope. Raimen, hardly (more a modern Fifita style runner). Wade's a ball playing edge. Maybe Talakai could run straight and hard on the edge? He'd help straighten things up if used properly

I've convinced myself that the gamplan was to get SJ and WK the ball as much as possible. It's the only thing that makes sense for that mess of a game

At the very least as part of video review and game plan we identified we could go around them and so we spent the whole game trying to do that in a panic rather than just knuckle down and earn it.

If we hadnt let two soft tries in early (partly dugans fault specifically but whole team was getting rolled to open game) we probably would have stuck to working our way forward a bit more before spreading it.

Yeah, the metres the Dogs were making was ridiculous. Maybe that's why we tried going around them... our middle didn't look up for the fight

Given Jayden missed last year I thought they were closer in games played. Jayden 79, Blayke 41.

Jayden is looking very good this year. If Blayke does end up being better we will have a good one on our hands, I guess we all just want to see more development.

Exactly, the poor guy could potentially be one injury away from a lengthy bench/NSW Cup stint in 2022.

McInnes signed for massive 4 years, I can’t remember but did he play State of Origin at one stage or was he just called into the camp?

I think we got the wrong brailey

Neither of them are “the wrong Brailey”. He’s a young player in a key position, he’s going to have a downturn every now and then at this early stage of his career. We’re playing the long game with him so have some patience.

He has all the skill set just don’t see them enough.

He has kicked a 40/20 out of dummy half. He is quick but usually only scoots to try and catch a marker.

Jayden hit a new level for two games last year before his injury last year and now this season. He is still 30 games ahead of blayke which is almost double. If we are comparing both 40 odd games in I don't think you say this.

If he can improve like his brother then we will be stoked.

Also in 10-15 of those games he played limited minutes.
