Still the cowboys for mine. But its definitely the best spine we've had in a very long time and the good thing about it is that there is still plenty of room for improvement

Id put the raiders up there too, came out of the blocks really well, should be even more dangerous after a few more games together.

Imagine the points fest, when dougs gets injured or origin duty, and the slot Mann back there. More they sux less chance bird wants to fly home.

I think the below have standout spines this year.

Brisbane
Canberra
Cows
Sharks
Melbourne

I can't include NZ whilst they have Robbo in the team.

hard to judge their spine when they've only basically had 1 and a half games together but I agree it's a dangerous spine

Yeah thats fair but compared to other news spines like us, manly, nz etc, they look ready to fire off the bat. If they stay fit behind that monster pack they are going to be right up there. I used to hate watching them but with austin and sezer now thats really changed.

yep agreed. Without good go forward every spine will struggle that's why I worry if fifita and gal don't play for us.

We basically have 3 new players in our spine and in my opinion we a coming along just nicely. There's been a good amount of improvement in the last two weeks and like I said before we still have plenty of room for improvement which is a very good thing. With the spine we have there is no reason why it can't compete with the cowboys spine as the comps most dangerous. Still have some work to do yet to get to that's stage though.

The added advantage we have compared to other new spines is that Chad has been in our system before and barba has spent time at fullback compared to the other new spines who are completely new so to speak. Probably helped us gel quicker and can definitely see the results of it the past 2 weeks.
