Best buy of the year and biggest improver?

Hi guys now the year is over just wanting to see who everyone thought went well this season.


The best buy would be Michael Gordon, I also think hino was good and biggest improvers would be feki & robbo.

Gordon has been great but as for improver gotta be Fifita. Has really stepped up and taken his game to another level.

i rekon there should nearly be 3 categories..
Team structure- mick Gordon ( full back has been weak for us for awhile)
Most improved- andy fafita (I'm hoping 4 roos jumper soon)
1st year player- feki ( not his greatest game last nite but still more than happy with him)

All of the new buys were great, I cant choose one. Gordon, Ryan, Wright, Heighno, Lewis. They were all brilliant.

Fifita is a no-brainer for most improved. Great season! And he was an absolute beast in attack and defence for us in the last 20 minutes last night too.

Best buy is a tough one, because for me you have to factor in the cost of the players. I'm not sure what Beau Ryan is on, but I'm sure it wouldn't be comparable to what Lewis or even Gordon are earning. So, for that reason, I say Beau is the best buy. His effort has been awesome for us since his debut match and he hasn't played a bad game all year. To think, just two seasons ago, he was on the bench at the Tigers behind Mitch Brown and Matt Utai.

BEST BUY - Michael Gordon - Improved our stability at the back and gave us so much more in attack.

MOST IMPROVED - Andrew Fifita. Gigantic improvement. Shed some weight. Got more agile and more damaging in attack and defense.

BEST ROOKIE - Sosaia Feki - Stepped in well on the wing position which has been an issue for us. Gave us some speed out wide and some damaging runs when we were deep in our half.

IT WAS GOOD TO SEE.... - Anthony Tupou - Getting back to some of his best footy. Running the ball with aggression and creating opportunities at every given moment.


I CANT WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR. BRING ON 2014!

I really enjoyed seeing Lewis running around in a sharks jersey, he is a top quality player. Toops really come into some form toward the end. Happy he is staying. Tagataese also improved his game this year. Looked to really enjoy his footy.

Over all I'm pretty happy with the squad this year.
