I can't believe you guys are trusting the word of a player manager. They're spin doctors. That quote is clearly garbage designed to hide the fact the he and Ben are changing thier minds. People never admit to that, they always spin something about never actually commiting in the first place.

Let me explain how a contract negotiation works.

Clubs get in contact with the players manager, the player says yes or no, often after interest is declared.
If the player allows negotiations to continue he recieves an outline from his manager of the offer, if he signs... he has 7 days to decide whether he has made the right decision or choose another offer- So technically speaking this "backflip" period allows a player to sign 2 contracts and decide which one is right.

Ben Hampton has signed with the Sharks.

Now shut the **** up.

S14 just asking whether we will know today IF Hampton is coming to the Sharks, as he signed seven days ago.

Moment of truth coming up - he said Hampton had signed - I have confirmed through a number of people if an actual contract is signed a player can not go on to sign with another club other then the club they are currently contracted to. So if he signs with another club we know it was just bull****.
