Sadly if we don't get the souths guy or Ennis, we need jmo another year... Young blokes coming up won't handle 80min week in week out...

SHARKYBOY you are spot on. I have been saying it for ages. I saw an article earlier in the year that sharks officials were talking to senior players about who they should pursue in the market, a clear indication that the players run this club and we do not have the roster to be competetive week in week out, and its a few of the senior players that should be punted first.

I'd imagine this year the players should be in charge of recruitment, seeing as we don't have a coach and have never had a talent scout as far I can tell.

I've been saying for over a month that Morris wants another year. Heard it from the horses mouth. Considering Lichaa and Degois are going I'd say he'll stay and play off the bench to whoever is our new 9.
Maybe this is the reason Lichaa wanted to leave the sharks its not about football its about the brotherhood.
It doesnt matter if you dont perform the senior players run the show

Just seen this article

"The 29-year-old is expected to announce he is going to hang up the boots on the Footy Show on Thursday night.

Ryan last played in round 10, against his former club the Wests Tigers when the injury to his C-6 and C-7 vertebrae, which required off-season surgery resurfaced.

Ryan made his NRL debut for the Tigers back in 2007 where he spent six seasons before joining the Sharks in 2013.

The Illawarra product is now expected to focus on his television career with Channel 9 where he is a regular pannelist on the NRL Footy Show."

Pretty ****ed. Sucks that someone has to retire out of precaution. Hope to see him at the manly game and shake his hand.
