Ive got no problem with KARI being on the jersey, its obviously a partnership we will continue for a little while. We must be in pretty badshape to not be able to find a 2 day deal. Although the NRL probably wants normal team sponsors only

I like the fact that if we can't sell the spot we put a charity on it, bulldogs did it many years ago with Camp Quality and I respected them for it

I love it, and I love the KARI logo. Reminds me of Fifita barnstorming to score that 80th min try.

I just wish that they made the 9's jersey the memers jersey as well. Instead of wearing it for one round Vs Storm in Rnd 15, how about wearing it throughout the 9's and members round. It would show appreciation to the members.

I can't wait to see some of the game plans some teams use. I see teams having only 1 or 2 players dropping back on the last.

40/20s to me seem like something that will be attempted a lot more, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a fancy version of Golden Point.

I thought the same thing, but it might be a bit of a hazard having a bunch of Ol' Fellas running around together against professional athletes. Maybe each club have the one player, that way he can be protected like an endangered species. This ensures the safety of the guys and it also promotes it evenly for each side.

Maybe have a retired in the past 5 years rule. Or have to pass a certain number on the beep test.

all the 16 clubs still have the same side as now, just also have a retired from NRL all stars side...could have Matty Bowen, LOD etc have a side

Wouldn't he be playing for Souths then? I would be bringing back E.T. He still knows how to "find the line" after all these years.

Agree. It reeks of a publicity stunt. I can only hope channel 9 won't be televising it, can you imagine the absolute crap they will go on with if one of their commentators is playing. Vomit.
