I was super stoked for that kid who scored that intercept for the sharks V the drags.

How did Cherrington look? Good enough for our starting hooker or a bench spot even? I missed the game unfortunately. Saw some good raps on Ramien though.

I didn't watch the trial.
But I was impressed with him in the 9s.
A totally different style to Ennis.
Similar to Farah picking up 1 Handed from dummy half
Like to turn the markers around.

I was talking about the 9's anyway, I didnt get to watch the trial either. One of those quicker hookers then obviously if he plays like that. Imo there are 2 types of hookers. A playmaking hooker like Ennis & Smith then those quicker hookers who like to run a bit a bit like De Gois use to play. Give him a chance before Mortimer first I think anyway.

One of our best apparently. Word out of the trial is that Morts and Nu didn't impress, so looks like Cherry is now front of the queue.

Cherington looked real quick out of dummy half, made good meters behind the ruck a few times and created some chances. However it is the 9s and im sure it would become harder to do that after making 40 tackles in the middle in a normal game.

I'm assuming we will have a 2 hooker combo, and it will be one of mortimer/brailey to start and soak up some damage in the ruck, then cherington/nu off the bench to spark the attack. More likely than not we maybe see mortimer/cherrington to start the season, hopefully moving to brailey/cherrington as the season moves on. Just my thoughts anyway.

Can Ramein play wing? he is listed purely as a centre on the sharks website? he is definitely a strong ball runner. Would be good interesting to see how he goes on the wing in a 13 a side game.
