Did enjoy seeing barba playing well today!

The new recruits are coming along nicely too

Ps: enjoyed the club today, hoping more people will rock up for it to see it pumping!

Though I did enjoy pulling out a few couches to sit on in the shade and knock down the beers

i dont even care if i get bashed for this.. but it was so good to see barba fire.. i hope he can keep it up. it looked like he had speed to burn today and was in 2nd gear. Bird is holding back so far. waiting for a big game so he can fire.. seems to me like the kind of player that only fires when the pressure is on him

I couldnt watch either of our 2 games today as I had cricket in the wet, I have only seen our highlights. How were we in general? Attacking or a bit slower? Ive seen Barba & Bird were decent along with Townsend. How were the likes of Cleeland Drew & Capewell?

One thing I've noticed in the nines is the importance of converting tries. Even without Val, we seem to be getting most of our attempts. Other teams have been absolutely pathetic. They've taken too long, barely made 10 metres, and in at least one occasion haven't converted a 5 pointer from right in front.

SMH mentions injuries ti Bird and Barba but no further detail. If they are out so are Sharks.

This is 9s not 13 aside just remember that. He don't get that space in the real game. Just saying....

I agree with you Bigberm it is a different game, nonetheless it is good to see Benny Barba running free, with speed and a step and a lot more room to move. This is a make or break year for him and we would all love to see him fire up.

Some good signs from some of our newer players as well.......great to see the footy back at loooong last

Weve just named our team for game 3, they have rested Chad & Lewis. We are still no certainty to go through to quarters so I would have kept Chad in there.

Jayden Brailey is looking really good. Nice to see some depth in the side this year.
