Then in my man cave room next to my autograph sharks Jersey, my Ayrton senna autograph my Greg Norman autograph will be a massive autographed photo of my man standing arms raised in the air and in the background you will see his shtti helicopter drop kick from 45m out sailing over the black dot in xtra time.. Seriously, my initial thoughts are these:
Two areas need to be spot on this year and we will really not know if this has been addressed until the first few games. And these have already been mentioned.
1. Kicking game - no obvious long kicker, this will have to be worked on very hard.
2. Line speed defence - god I hope this has been fixed and we are finally going to see some starch in our defence.
If we can have above average ability in both these areas and have our luck with injuries and NO off field incidents, no reason why we cannot be top four.
Can we challenge for the title? The players should have a goal of top four at least and should always be thinking of winning the premiership otherwise they won't be motivated.
It will probably be beyond us but yes, if we managed to snare DCE for 2016 then that will be our year.

Agree. Im not looking too much on 2014, I think it was only fair we got the spoon last year, but I also dont think its the result of the squads ability. We had more injuries and more off field issues than any other side in the comp. We more or less NEEDED the spoon.
I think Flanno will do a fairly good job fixing those defensive issues, but he cant make a guy be able to kick if he just physically cant. The bonus is, he is looking for guys who can

Woefully unbalanced side. We do have a lot of attacking forwards and backs for once but the coach is sure to eradicate any chance of that resulting in points.

I dont think we will win the comp this year although we will go well, for us to win we would need alot of luck come our way, then the stars to align for us with other teams & their key players all falling over come semi final time.
Without wanting to bag him I cant see Jeff Robson as our halfback getting us our first premiership, he is tradesman like but imo most times a gun halfback can give a chance in getting you over the line in the big games & rarely does a tradesman halfback get you over the line for the big one. I hope we have a plan for our kicking game as well as I see this as a obvious weakness in our game.
Finally the young backs like Gagan, Holmes, Bird & possibly Feki (although he has a few games under his belt now) will benefit having 2015 under their belts for us to hit the ground running in 2016 & hopefully DCE on board, from there, if you ask me the same question again this time next year, "can we win the comp" absolutley, we will be in it up to our eyes balls.

Do we even have a long kicking game I'm still having nightmares from that game robbo and holdsworth couldn't kick through the defensive line, can Barba kick long? i don't see enis kicking long out of dummy half

Don't stress we don't need a long kicking game we will be on the attack all season.... Only long kicking will be flash converting at over 95% from the sideline after feki n Holmes hit double figures try scoring after 8 rounds..
