Rumour going around that Tolman could be released due to salary cap pressure at the dogs. Apparently his management had made contact with Newcastle.

With all our off contract forwards we should be all over trying to snap him up if its true.

I was initially going to straight out say no to this until I remembered the interchange chances and on that I would be all over him. Couldn't offer heino a contract though which i'd be fine with as tolman is at a similar level but a natural prop and at a good age.

Yep i would love tolman with the interchange changes next season. About time we got a quality mid north coast boy in the club. Our supporters from there are derricks.

l really think we should be looking at younger props, the old day of props not maturing until they are in their 30s will become a myth like 2010

Seems I've built quite the fan club on here. You drongos need to stop obsessing over me and engage in some footy talk

Seems some people would rather come on here and have a go at people about having a go at people.

Just talk footy boys. But don't be a dumb **** ;)

Tolman is a good big forward capable of 80mins with experience.

We're gonna have an exodus of quality forwards shortly. We need to recruit the right balance of experience and youth.

I have a slight fear we'll go from too forward orientated with no decent backs, to plenty of back depth and not enough grunt up front to replace what we lost.

Agree Capital He is a good tough hard working player, can play prop and second row lives at Caringbah South. As usual would still love to see us with a big hard hitting Harmen Prop who can put a bit of fear in the opposition.

The Chooks seem to have more than their share so do the Bunnies and the Dogs. Gotta say enjoying the back half of the season:)

Go the mighty Sharks

Tolman's a good player but he's not what I'd call a "big forward". He's a guy that thrives on big minutes, which we probably wouldn't be able to give him. I like him, but Newcastle is definitely a better fit if he leaves Bulldogs.

True, but would fit our side post Gallen, Lewis, Heino and Toops.

I saw Tolman in real life and he was actually heaps bigger than I thought.

I know, Cool story

If you put enough cameras in enough dunnies...

If we lost heino/toops he could be. Start him with fifita and have taga and prior off the bench to rotate in. Bigger minutes on offer in 2017 too.

I know it doesn't really mean much but he just bought a house this year in the shire too.
