Pls no more Sandow talk. It is giving me a headache. Good teams can be consistently good. He is pathetic 3 games and then has a decent one and suddenly he's hot property again.

Dunno. There was word that Cornish was going to Manly before the DCE change of heart, not sure if that's still a thing.

Remember those games this year where we lost by 4 or less points but we kept rolling up the field only to fail when we got in the attacking 20... Just saying ;) hahaha

Haha yep. My preference is Maloney but I'd prefer Sandow to partner Chad over anyone currently at the club.

A blind monk who has taken a vow of non-violence would be better than our current halfback, doesn't mean Sandow would be a good pickup.

I could handle it if interchange goes to 6, that would allow us to play barba of the bench which I'm keen on. Still Maloney by a long way as 1st choice though for me.

my preference would be a Maloney/sandow combo or at worse a Townsend/sandow combo

I've always been a fan of having one half that will lead the team around and the other half has the attacking ability to lay on the tries when it matters

Look at 2013 when we went so well, regardless of how crap robbo is now at that time he was close (2nd I think) to leading the comp in repeat sets, he lead us down the field and helped us apply pressure. Then we had carney to polish of the sets

I wasn't talking about Ribson necessarily. I'm saying I'd take Sandow to partner Chad over anyone at the club. So that includes Bird, Barba, Brown etc.

Yeah I'm just assuming Chad will be here next year.

Sandow is not a piece of mud on Carney's boot.

I respect how you blokes are being optimistic with Sandow. On his day he's a freak. But optimism doesn't change the fact that over the entirety of a season he is remarkably average. Even a ****ter like Luke Kelly made the Eels look a far better side.

Sandow will more than likely end up in QLD Cup or in England. The last thing our club needs is another poorly disciplined player acting like he is boss.

Sandow has more wooden spoons over top 8's in his career, does that sound like a player who will bring a winning culture to the club?
