Lewis Brown also set to be forced out of Penrith due to there salary cap. I would love him at the sharks. A real mr fix it player. Still only 28.

Chad Townsend

New Zealand Warriors five-eighth Chad Townsend hopes to have his future sorted out in the next couple of weeks after being told he's free to leave the NRL club next season.

The mother of Townsend's partner, Marissa Sorensen, has terminal bowel cancer and the couple would like to return to Australia to spend more time with her.

The Warriors have an option to retain Townsend next season and with his form being good this year, his departure would have left the club short in the halves.

But the announcement last week that the Warriors have signed Issac Luke from the Rabbitohs for 2016, meaning Thomas Leuluai can return to five-eighth, has resulted in the club now allowing Townsend to go.

Im thinking its gotta be us. Esp after the Lussick / Gordon shenanigans, and now no Tupou for the year.
I think Fifita will be picked again for SOO, so with no Gal and Lewy either I think we could do with him.

:ridiculed there is no way in the world it would be us. We never show foresight with recruiting. We Only get players that are given to us that other teams dont want anymore and if it comes down to us and another team in the running they go to the other team. He'll be a rooster.

Damn it.... Gold we get stuck with taga they uncover this guy.. Ring uncle nick ask if we can swap taga for Moa..
