In your head, rent free
if anyone thinks that a pleb like Beau Faloon will influence DCE's decision, they probably brought drugs off him

it is between us and Manly at the moment, and we are the front runners

Only way it could effect is possible third party sponsors pulling out weakening a deal.

And that's if the Titans were a chance. Which goes against what you are stating anyway.

its quite simple...dce is waiting for foran to make a decision...if foran stays dce will be a shark ... if foran leaves then dce will stay...we need to give dce a deadline that would make it interesting

Not true at all. A player like DCE wouldnt be out there getting offers now if that was his intention. He could organise a huge deal in a week during the off-season if he wanted to. Its not like come october teams would say 'nah we've got a full roster sorry'.

If Foran leaves it may leave DCE with the OPTION to stay at Manly, but how far above rival offers are manly really going to offer? Maybe DCE just plain old wants out? The team is starting to crumble. The persistent talks of infighting cant have been brought on by rumour. Where there is smoke there is fire. Manly isnt going to be the force they were from 2007-2013 for a long time, with or without DCE/Foran.

Looks like Dragons are trying a swap with Manu /Docker for Merrin. If they don't get either , would Docker suit us? I am sure l read somewhere that Cleary suggested he put a bit of weight on so he can run as a prop.

Not sure how much Manly are offering DCE but is it much less than what us or the titans are offering? Wouldnt suprise me if manly find a little more money in their back pocket last minute

Docker is one of the most over-rated players going around. He can put a hit on, but so can Tagataese. Doesn't make a player.

For a bloke to average 26 tackles, 4 missed tackles, 60 meters and a penalty a game, and then still be compared to Paul Gallen based on those performances, it shows the blokes rating him are delusional.

How could u compare him to Gallen. Gallen's good for at least 3 penalties a game

LOL fair point.

But to prove how much 1 penalty a game is: Gal actually averages 1 penalty every 2 games. This douche actually gives away twice as many penalties as Gal. 0_o

the penalty stat is a fun one isnt it. Ruck penalties are so discretionary its not funny. They shouldnt even count as penalties anymore, just tackle count restarts. It is funny when you think a player is highly penalised and he is only getting 1 every 2 games roughly. Whats an average penalty count per team per game? about 10? 1 a game isnt good.

I probably will get shot down for this but does anyone else have a concern regarding the signing of DCE ? I know he's one of the best halves getting around and is in huge demand from rival clubs, but manly were one of the most close knit teams in the comp ( in regards to most players in the squad re- signing with manly for unders just to keep the team together ) Along comes DCE, getting paid a minimum wage, starts to perform then wants a bigger pay packet, which I believe started an in house **** fight with many of the senior players with several leaving or wanting to leave. Yeah he's exactly what we need in the halves I'm just concerned that if he's got the attitude that he is king **** and brings that to the sharks that it might because dramas and other players will leave because he is acting like a dick or if he isn't liked or accepted he may not perform to his best then it will turn out to be a massively expensive mistake. I' m sure I heard someone mention that even some of the blokes in the kangaroo's squad couldn't stand him because of his head up ass attitude. It maybe nothing, just putting it out there and am keen to hear others opinions. Just don't want anyone causing dramas in the team I love.

On a serious not if he does sign I think DCE should seriously consider an operation on his neck by reducing it by half and donating it to the Morris twins as they have none and his is too ****ing long.

Cheers Steve

If we are paying him 1 mil a year or more, and he starts being a diva, then you hope he asks for a release. IF he becomes the highest paid of all time, at least he wont come in asking for more.

Interesting point about Kangaroo camp Steve, I know watching the Gallen Video in the official thread he did not say much about DCE. He did go on and rave about Foran though.

Who knows how he would fit into these groups but I'd would like him in our colours, if he was to come here I think he would be pretty motivated to win a Maiden premiership to prove he really is a great player rather then come for a cushy million a season.

Hope so anyway
