Honestly, I don't know how anyone could be happy with Robbo in the team regardless of who the 5/8 is. Apart from decent defence he offers nothing. NOTHING.

If we lose out now to someone like the Raiders, Eels, or Titans ill be severly disappointed.

I'm sure Robbo spells better than egg, so that's a thing.


But yeah, anyone but Robbo. He can go back into NSW Cup and work as a Hooker or something in case both Ennis and Politoni get injured, but otherwise.... Yuck.


Like, I appreciate that he puts his body on the line, but I'd rather a whimp with some creative and kicking ability to be honest.

I agree I'd love to see Brown giving a shot there with Barba (I doubt Flanno would though) - only question mark is the kicking game - I don't really remember Barba being a kicker and Brown is still developing his kick.

Neither would have to do much to be on par with Robbo's kicking game.

No way is captain incumbent dropping robbo for someone else. I just shudder to think how we'll react if/when he shunts holmes, gagan, and nu down to nsw cup over mitch brown, ayshford, and holdsworth.

First picked already running training with inside balls and settling touch finders. Calming all those around him by not trying anything too out there - like a ball out the back to a sweeping fullback.

We have been through enough without moving players outside their comfort zones.

My only real grievance with Robbo is his kicking game. His inside balls are actually pretty effective, unless you expect us to score off them every time.

In truth he is not the worst halfback to have played the game it's just he is not a natural attacker so in the absence of attacking flair his limited game is exposed.

seen a rumour on fb that ben barba was in cronulla having coffee with ennis. instead of being at the broncos jersey launch.

was on facebook so i wouldnt read too far into it.
