Who is to say we didnt try get him help?

I know for a fact the lengths we went to to give Albert Kelly help when he went off the rails. Some people just don't get it

I know that you are all correct.
But if the club paid the instant depression / rehabilitation card and Todd actually agreed to lock himself inside a 2 month treatment program. (like the bulldogs/barba drama)
Could we have created a win/win scenario ?

FROM THE OTHER FORUMS QUALITY POSTER :

1.Farrell has asked for a release but the Dragons are playing hardball, and Cronulla trying to be the cunning players in the market that we are, are asking if the Dragons will pay part of his contract.
He isn't on a big deal and it wouldn't dent our budget so I don't see the problem with it.

2.Yep, and that Mata'Utai brother playing well in the centres, plus Dugan and Beale mean that Farrell can go to ease some space.

There are a few Dragons we are trying to get but they don't seem keen on giving us a leg up.

INTERESTING STAT FROM OTHER FORUM :

Farrell's try scoring record is 32 tries from 76 games. This compares favourably to Leutele 7 from 36, Ayshford 34 from 120 (including 1 from 16 for us), Jono Wright 28 from 91 and Mitch Brown 37 from 126.

He is a solid right centre that fills a position we have struggled with for a few years now. He would be good business and if St Geo throw in, even better. He does have 2 years left on his contract.

PS: I'm talking to myself again ,

Possibly, but then you are mocking the real illness and using it as a cop out...

And who knows how long it would have lasted, it could have just delayed the inevitable anyway.

Ah, a year above Gilly. Played against him in soccer a bit. We probably know some of the same guys. I was mates with a lot of guys in that year from Dunoon, Rosebank, The Channon, Nimbin, but a bunch of blokes in that year from south and north Lismore wanted to kick the **** out if me. I did a lot of running! Long story. LOL now.

Yeah I used to wait at the same bus stop and get the same bus to school as Gilly, really nice guy.

I'd be more likely to be friends with the fellas from Dunoon, Rosebank etc than the bad asses from town haha.

Who knows , perhaps Todd might have exercised some demons .
BUT I do get where your coming from .
Horse has bolted and a talented yet troubled player , starts again without any rehabilitation .
YEP , could well stuff up yet again.

All good and well scoring tries in a free flowing Souths team that let the ball sing. We have a different style altogether. Farrell wouldn't be a bad signing by any means but Bird should be given first shot at that right side. From what I've seen he could well be the answer. We just need to find someone to get him the ball.

Jacob Miller looks set to have played his last game for Hull FC as the scrum-half nears a move away from the KC Stadium.
The Mail can reveal Hull have offered the 22-year-old Australian a settlement deal to end his contract, which still has another 12 months to run.

Did really well in the NYC, got the punt because the Tigers staff are weird. Anything's better than Robson/Holdsworth.

I rate him. Yep let's offer him something for sure. Might just be what we need.

Miller is ****. If any of you watched him past NYC you wouldn't even ask the question. The fact that he was paid out should probably wave a flag yeah?
