And to the people saying "oh but we could use him on a second tier contract blah blah…. yeah, or we could get someone who will be of use to us in more than a year or promote some kids or a 26 year old journeyman instead of a 33 year old hack.

Exactly. I'd hate to think a Gagan or Holmes forced to play on the NSW cup bench to accommodate someone like EGJ or Tahu on the wing. How does it benefit us?

In your head, rent free
agreeing, i said maybe to a second tier contract but gave a reason behind it

look, if we had to finalise our squad and tahu appeared then i probably wouldnt jump up and down

he showed on the weekend that he can still be in the right place at the right time for us

but if we signed him on a top contract then i would gladly welcome my punishment from the club

Find me a player that would 'take any offer'. Id rather come in if theres injuries in the centres than blake ayshford.

If the nrl is having a 16 team reserve grade next year then we have some positions to fill because the melbourne joint venture has robbed us a bit.

Most young guys with half a chance of playing firsts would probably be on more than tahu

Tahu is the one nrl player i would not have at the sharks.
When he done his SOO crap--- that was it for me with him.

If you were of a particular race, and had a personal friend and one of your coaches making racial comments would you stand for it?

Handled poorly, but the 8th was at fault, not tahu

Look what Tahu did when was at Penrith.

Look what ayshford did while at sharks
Look what wright did while at sharks
Look what grothe did while at sharks

At 33 or whatever he is, tahu is probably still above out 2 centres (wright ayshford) not (leutele). If he came as a 4th choice centre and even played 2nd row in reserves id not care

The whole "id take any offer" is coming from a dude that knows his career is over and is basically begging someone for any sort of contract so he can escape working a normal job for another year.

If ayshford can actually play how he has the last two weeks i have no issue with him being the back up centre next year over Tahu.

It would be a massive come down to earth after being well paid and in high demand for over a decade.

It's kinda funny actually.

It would be hard going from playing in front of an origin crowd to playing in front of 100 people in reserve grade in a matter of years… but thats life.

His team mates left him actually. If they were good blokes they would have walked out with him, Joey would have been sacked and the media would have banished him for public life. He is a racist dumbarse piece of ****.
