Knights are my most hated side, then the Bulldogs. I can't remember the last time we beat either side.
Same.i never forget when we beat the scum. Robson field goal in extra time last year in Newy. Very dusty the next day!

Bennett wouldn't come here, you are kidding yourselves, it's a false rumour someone made up.

If he wanted a challenge, he would stay at the knights and try get them to improve, seriously, think about it. They are in the same position as us with a better roster. Why would he leave them to coach us?

Agree, It sounds like total BS and something made up out of thin air

It makes zero sense whatsoever after all everything the club went through to defend, re-instate and extend Flanno

Regardless Bennet would have no desire to come here challenge or not - he stated he was embarrassed by the performances and ladder position of the Knights so he will avoid us like the plague and want something that is less effort for more likely results

I really don't care, he would have no passion for our club and he might be getting past it. I doubt he has any care at all about the Sharks past, present or future
I was one of the few that said in advance he will not deliver Newcastle success like alot predicted he would although that was more due to IMO them having a **** team

So In summary:

BS Rumour
I don't give a **** about Bennet or Boyd

Be sure to change the sheets when y'all wake up

I remember a game where we were carving Newcastle up and we got a benefit of the doubt try and joey was sookin to the ref "Benefit of the doubt? Its 40-nil"

And when they finally scored he had the ****s and didn't even line up the conversion. Was one of my favorite victorys

I agree completely, but I feel we are quite a bit like the goons were in 08, come in to this side, change a thing or two and who knows.

IF TODAY'S rumour one and the older rumour two are true.
How much would you throw at Hurrell to come and play in Feki's team again?

Rumour one:

Matai wants out of Brookvale

The Manly Sea Eagles have knocked back a second release request from centre Steve Matai next season as the New Zealand Warriors continue to push a $2.5 million four-year contract.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal Matai has recently approached Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey to double-check whether his agent had asked Manly for a release to join the Warriors three months ago.

The Sunday Telegraph has been told there was even a request for Matai to personally be allowed to front the Sea Eagles board and state his case, but Manly rejected this.

Matai, 29, is contracted to the Sea Eagles for another year but the Warriors have offered him the security of a four-year contract, believed to be worth around $650,000-a-season.

Rumour two:

Warriors' interest in Matai could spell Hurrell's end
SMH.com.au
– April 27, 2014Posted in: Konrad Hurrell, Manly Sea Eagles, New Zealand Warriors, News, Steve Matai

Konrad Hurrell

NRL clubs are circling for the out-of-favour Konrad Hurrell, while the New Zealand Warriors are now looking at luring Steve Matai across the Tasman as someone to beef up their stocks at centre.

Hurrell is signed with the Warriors until 2015. It hasn’t yet reached the point where Hurrell would ask for a release from his contract, but a number of clubs are on standby should he once again find himself in the reserve grade team.

The Warriors were prepared to offer Peta Hiku $1 million for a three-year contract to return to the club, but Hiku decided to remain at the Manly Sea Eagles.

It is understood the Warriors have now set their sights on 12-Test veteran Matai.

Just as an extra from the other forum : Not the reliable poster however.

Not sure if anyone cares but I spoke to a Manly contact last night and he tells me as reported yesterday Matai wants out and will be released to the Warriors, Brett Stewart will be released and he is going to the raiders and Watmough will be released to probably to the Eels at this stage! They all dislike DCE with a passion, he has his group of Hiku and Burher and Taufua. DCE talks to the players the same way he talks to the media!

Interesting, that the majority of Manly supporters seem to agree with the idea to back the new players Regime, and would be happy if the club released the older players for regeneration.Guess thats what successful clubs do.

I can only assume hurrrel must be a clown off the field, cause on it I rekon he is a gun occasional ordinary defence but awsome attacking weapon.

still under contract and will not be released, u guys clearly dont watch much of the warriors footy as Hurrell has practically scored a double every week for 8 or more weeks straight and been an absolute monster ever since he came back from reserves. Lets not make more rumours that dont exist, Hurrell playing at the sharks is a deadset pipe-dream

I'm not against offering josh mcguire some decent coin to get him here, he's exactly what this pack needs - runs straight and hard and makes lots of tackles. Take gibbs place, he's never got back to his 2012 form.
