He has played 3 years of first grade - he should be getting better - he is a good kicker but he doesn't run the ball and his passing game is tripe. He has a gun forward pack and backs and should be setting the world on fire.

McQuire knows he is not the answer thats why they signed Cody Walker. He will finish his time at souths in reserves I bet.

Absolutely agree on that. I've been saying I want Hunt all along, but I'd prefer Sezer. I could be wrong but I believe he is also off contract at the end of 2015 unless he's re-signed. If that's the case, get into both players' ears now, we have the cash, go hard.

Must say I'd rather wait another year and find the right half for 2016 onwards than just buying for the sake of buying. Is hampton the long term solution though ?

I have no doubt Sezer would be the right half and reasonably sure Hunt and Brown would be a good combo.

Only problem with Sezer is his durability - our track record keeping players who are not durable on the park is poor

Europe, Japan or NRL for Beale?

Waratahs star Kurtley Beale says a decision on his future is “just around the corner”, as he weighs up sticking with Australian rugby, playing overseas or switching to rugby league.

Beale is out of contract with the ARU and NSW at the end of the season and has options awaiting in Europe, Japan and the NRL.

“It will be (made) pretty soon,” Beale said of his decision. “It’s just around the corner. I’m not too worried about it at the moment.

“All I’m focused on right now is trying to play good footy. It is a very exciting time for me and the Waratahs.

“That’s all I’m worried about. Playing consistent football and playing my part for the boys, and hopefully the rest will sort itself out when the time is right.”

Beale seems to be constantly linked to the NRL, but he always stays with RU. I expect he'll do the same this time.
