i think Srama would be a good pick up - one of the few young hookers out there who could develop into a 80 minute player... and he has solid defense despite being a bit small but its not like any of the good no9's out there are large anyway! my only concern is he lacks a kicking game which in todays game is essential for a no9 to have as it relieves a lot of pressure on the halves on the 4th and 5th tackle...

Everyone is talking we should sign Ennis ($500,000) or Korisau or Srama for next year.
Why don't we just offer Lichaa more money than the Bulldogs so he backs out of the Bulldogs before the cut off?
Because Lichha hasn't done jack yet in rugby league !

So we failed on api and mansour - watch as tigpies lock up koro and raiders pay overs for ennis. 2015 looking sweet, got that young roosters kid we won't see in firsts for a number of years. #bornwithit

srama would be a good bench option, but the starting 9 is the problem

and i would take taumata on a cheap contract, he has more talent in his carton of vb than holdsworth/robson has ever possessed

I don't know how many times I have to say this, no one of any note will come here (no matter how much weight Gal carries) until ASADA ****s off. And who knows when that will be. I reckon player managers (the scum of the earth) are telling all their players to stay away from the Sharks. Unfortunately I don't think we're going to see any significant recruitment for us until 2016/17.

Agreed...let's not forget we lost out to the raiders and panthers....it's not like we got sniped by easts, storm, or dogs

Do we know how much they offered compared to us? If they have offered more than us then there is no surprise that we would miss out. In that case it has little to do with ASADA or anything else.

We need to sort out our 9 problem, even if it means paying huge overs. Surely Mcinnes would come for the right price. And the fact he won't be stuck behind Luke forever.

we will probably sign a couple more old players until flanno's son and his mates are 18-20 and they will be straight in the team

On tripleMMM website reading Parra Eels are chasing Israel Folau for next year with the NRL’s $$$ assistance under the new salary cap changes. If successful that’s some backline if you add him to Will Hopoate and Jarryd Hayne,

Sharks seem to be playing the waiting game ie take advantage of players suddenly being available when no one else has room under their cap

The NRL put paid to that approach when they gave the Dragons an exemption for Benji
