I just read in the telegraph we are making a play for Michael Ennis. Tell me it aint so. If true this may question my loyalty.

See ya then. If your questioning your loyalty over us potentially signing a quality player you must not be much of a fan any way.

No issue with signing Marshall and/or Ennis for mine. Marshall in 7 - Robbo on the bench - De Gois to reggies. Next year Ennis takes JMo's spot and everything else stays the same.

At the end of the day all we have to weigh up is if the new signing is an upgrade on what we currently have and you would have to say Ennis is a big upgrade on Morris and de gois, so I'm in.

And you mustn't know much about fooy. Check stats.com and have a look at ennis. Along with being a grub on the field and a fake off it on fox and big sports breakfast, he doesnt do much. He cant hold a candle to C.Smith or R.Farah. So again, why sign a bloke past his best instead of targeting a gun player or an up and commer with a bright future. By the way it's only an opinion, but the "question my loyalty" bit was to show how against signing him I am. I have been a shark since I was a baby watching my uncles play for them so see ya yourself

So we have a chance to give Marshall a one year contract, make him hungry to earn his way back into the game and ear his respect back.... And we are just going to throw a 3 year deal at him and sign Ennis....

If you got ennis it opens up the chance to bring brown in for a huge impact role. Rather than a 40-40 hooker role. Ennis could stay on and in the back end brown comes in and destroys the defence.

Then we have 3 (or 4 if holmes is in) attacking weapons across the field.

Spoke to a couple of doggies fans who have said Ennis has been awesome this year. I haven't thought about the fact that we could end up with de gois again, or we could have Ennis and brown next year over this year.

Initial reaction was negative, given some time to think, he is an upgrade.

Have you watched a Bulldogs game this year?

If you have you have realised Ennis is 10x the hooker Morris/DeGois/Robbo/Lichaa are. He would be our best hooker by a country mile.

He will play Origin this year if Farah is out. Our blokes wouldn't even have there names suggested by the most loyal of Sharks fans.

People's obsession with age is driving.... I'd rather a 30 year old in Ennis who is going great guns than put a kid who isn't ready in there...I personally think we are that starved of a winning culture that we desperately talk some of these young guys up beyond their current abilities, then turn on em when they are just plodders ( chad case in point)

Sometimes you need to take a punt on youth which I guess is what Canterbury is doing by letting Ennis go. How many guys are we going to have retiring within 2 years of each other?
