TC Robati officially sacked by the broncos.

Nrl clubs are also enquiring about Curtis Sironens contract status.

Multiple clubs are interested in him for 2024.
Yeah - he was playing great footy at Manly before his injury. I was really surprised when he left to England. Thought someone in the NRL would have been able to make him a good offer.

Titans have reportedly released Paul Turner has he has signed the dragons and will join them effective immediately.
@kiwishark he might finally get a crack down there. Was caught in a numbers game at the Titans. Weaver leapfrogged him in the trials imo.

Sometimes when you’re that age and on the fringe you become very easy to overlook for ‘the next big thing’.

A couple of sharks who not much younger but even less experienced found themselves in the scrap heap until we brought them in.

Manly have been okay at edge so you wouldn’t say they were wrong to let him go but you could probably go back through some rosters and find a spot he would have been better off in than who got it

Fair call. I just didn't think he was a fringe player. After he came back from his ACL he played 2 full seasons for them as a starter and was really strong. The he missed most 2021 with a different knee injury, and bolted to England. Maybe NRL teams just didn't want to take the risk that he would recover back to his 2019-2020 self.

Things could be a lot worse. Re-signing a fantastic winger and elite finisher for the long term without breaking the bank. Our outside backs come in at a very reasonable rate compared to some sides, and when it comes to finishing and yardage they're easily in the top 2/3. Sione is a ****ing joy to watch too so I am glad he will be here and not at the merge.

Hopefully this signing momentum keeps rolling into Rd 1 and we can get Jesse, Nicho, Teig and Will done soon.
Katoa is part of a really good unit right now. We could change to someone else because we want to moneyball or take a chance on a promising rookie, but geez the current guys have a tonne of passion and really support each other to do better. People don't rate stuff that's not on a stats sheet but it's worth a lot. And it's not even subjective. Brisbane, Melbourne, Penrith all get more out of their

I thought so too. Maybe like you said, clubs didn't want to take the chance. One position there actually seems to be plenty of choice is second row.

Me too. I wanted us to have a crack at him. I’m sure clubs like the knights, titans, St George ect will have an offer there for him for 2024. If he wants to come back to the nrl. Too good to be playing in super league.

Flegler has been offered 800k a year by the dolphins. 4 year deal.

Has agreed to terms but hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet.

Roosters are interested also and the donkeys are keen to keep him. But the money on offer from the dolphins is going to be too much for him to turn down.

Siro and Sione Matautai @ St.Helens off contract end of 2023.
Both handy pick-ups.

Both you would think will end up back in the nrl for next year. Knights could use both of them. Storm maybe could go after 1 of them too. St George definitely.

He's had injury after injury. But talking to his old man he's looking and feeling the best he has for 3 years so hopefully he can give it shake.
