Think NRL wouldn’t register his contract until broncos put in place a repayment plan from his wage to ensure it was paid.

I'd argue that suggests Webster is onto something about the guy and the clubs know it. Guys with his talent don't go cheap to super league with no local bidders unless there's something else going on. And yeah everyone here thinks all journo's are scum but thats frankly BS.
