Surely we are top 4 this year

i believe we will be, last year in his first year JMO was very reactive to certain situations and we always had a different game plan for different teams

he had his teething issues but i believe our retention and some smart pickups in connor tracey, kingy, and jesse puts us in a great spot

we have good youth, excellent vets and plenty of middle ground players

i reckon we will be the surprise packets of the comp

We could be top 4 but the other three teams in the top 4 will be a lot better than us IMO.

i doubt it

the tops 4 this year have all gone backwards

roosters - lost their best strike weapon and their best player. their strike weapons replacement just blew his knee out whilst cronks replacement is a prick

canberra - got rid og their 2 best backs and replaced them with a cop basher and a reserve grader, got rid of sezer for the british jeff robson

souths - lost burgess and didnt get the forwards in for this year, pack is skinnier than an ethiopian marathon, backline is ok with latrell in it

storm - losing everyone. will regress this year

this will be a very even comp, one good run can set you up for home ground advantage in the finals

Hope you're right but I see another disruptive season coming up.

Wouldn't be surprised if we missed the 8 altogether.

1. Latrell Mitchell
2. Campbell Graham
3. Braidon Burns
4. James Roberts
5. Dane Gagai
6. Walker
7. Reynolds

And then there's Alex Johnston as backup, for now at least.

That's a pretty spectacular backline.

It is. I think they'll struggle for leadership this year though, losing GI, Sam and Sutton in quick succession will hurt.

Some massive flat track bullies in that backline also with no real leadership to pull them into line.

Yeah I don’t really rate that backline.. I feel we have a better backline then that one tbh

1. Latrell Mitchell - inconsistent
2. Campbell Graham - meh
3. Braidon Burns - also meh
4. James Roberts - lol
5. Dane Gagai - only plays good in maroon
6. Walker - see how he goes with smaller forward pack
7. Reynolds - see how he goes with smaller forward pack

Agree they've lost a lot of leadership, but I'd back Reynolds, Cook, Graham and Bennett to keep them on track.

Based on 2019 form, which of our guys beats out their opposite number? For mine only Xerri and Dugan.

Tough school. 6/8 (including the backup) have played rep footy, and they're all young or in the prime of their career.

That backline doesn't scare me.

We aren't far off that, in some respects we are actually better.

I'll take our centres and wingers over theirs.

Burns, Roberts, Graham, Gagai are players that have a quite a few games with no impact.. Mitchell is a different story, but at fullback will he still be ??

I rate their 6/7 a much better combo then ours but

I think that Sths team is being underestimated, they have much better forward depth than us. I'm glad we getting them 1st up, hopefully before they get going. Also Parra, they are huge in the Pigs.

Will be interesting to see how (if) they gel. Didn't Roberts and Mitchell have a good old fashion on-field feud going at one point?

that backline is ****e apart from latrell mitchell

graham is a bum, burns was ok before injury, roberts is a schooner away from being carried out of a pub by his mates, gagai stinks

their halves are ok but will struggle behind the stickmen up front

add to that, reynolds has spent the offseason eating pies at kings games, he is fat

I think I saw someone take a light swing at him at the Melbourne United game two Sundays ago. Pretty sure the guy was pissed and Reynolds just laughed it off. Probably about half a metre off becoming a big story.

Totally! We can win it this year if we a 2016 style injury run. The talent and combinations are there.

This season could see a very different finals series, even if one of the mainstay powerhouse teams wins it again.

The titans will be the surprise packet IMO.

I’d say it’s a pretty common thing for these guys when they’re out at concerts or other sports games or whatever. That’s probably why he didn’t really give a **** and laughed it off. I reckon even if he did make contact, it wouldn’t of even laid a scratch, looked a very weak shot.
