I've got no beef with the way he left. He was always going to go back to NQld anyway. Rather NFL then another NRL team.

I'm still petty A.F though. Jack Bird can eat a d..k.

You have no beef with him telling us he was leaving in November?

He's a ****.

Not really. Thats almost five months before the season started.

I'm not sure why it doesn't bother me, I love him as a player. I just think he seems like a pretty humble nice dude. Bird, Fergo and a few others are just porkchops.

True but his timing could have ****ed us right up.
Generally all the quality players (in Vals league) are accounted for by then.
It was only due to good luck that we managed to get someone equal in quality and that was a one in a million chance.
I'd say He knew months ago what he was planning, so a bit of courtesy wouldn't have gone astray.
In saying that, I'd move heaven and hell (Moylan and Dugan) if we had a snowflake in hells chance of getting him back.
Unfortunately I think our chances are even slimmer than that!

No chance. My mail is they still need to lose 1 big name (Moylan top of the list) due to salary cap issues.

thats for 2021

And on top of the fact that's for 2021 NRL registered Ramiens contract so they obviously felt we were all good and it looks very likely Prior will be leaving so I highly doubt we need to lose Moylan or another big name.

Will be no more major signings for us this year.

That bit does seem likely

Apparently Val’s agreed to the cowboys deal

It does look like the Cowboys have "played" Latrell in order to hurry Holmes along with his decision to come back.
I reckon Latrell will be filthy with the Cows once it is "officially official" and he will promptly sign with the Tigers.
At least that's what my 8 ball suggests!

Tigers should squeeze his nutz and lower their bid to 800K
The market is drying up .

I guess that will depend on his true motivation.
Is it to play fullback? In which case, Latrell may take $800k, but if it's about the coin, then he will demand the $1m I reckon.

Reports are Tigs offering:

1st year $800k
2nd year $900k
3rd year $1m
4th year $1.1m

If he continues to improve I don't really have a problem with that. His main problem is lack of involvement. That will be unavoidable at fullback.
