Anyone here rate Ryan Hall? The England winger? Could be worth considering. Maybe a bit too pricey though. I don’t watch the Super League but he’s looked good when playing for the Poms.

He's a a prolific try scorer at club and international level and has the skills and strength to make it in the NRL. Has won a ****load of trophys over the years and not looked out of place competing against the Aussies, yea I rate him

The interesting thing is that apparently Hall has been enquired/offered NRL prospects before but not been happy with the short term nature and stuck with longer terms deals at Leeds for the security

so I have to wonder that at 30 years old is a club like the roosters gunna offer him what 2 years? Hall may feel different about it all at the tail end of his career now and no doubt with some $$$ in the bank, he could play for a year or 2 and then have a big aussie holiday, move back to England if he really needs to after that. He sounds a bit bored of ESL

Says we’re pulling out all the stops to keep him as far TPA’s and whatnot, but apparently we’re fighting a lost cause as his desire to return to his family is overriding the potential fianancial gain. Could be true but how the **** would anyone but Val know that? If he was 100% going to Nth. QLD regardless of money and this was common enough knowledge for a rumour account on twitter to know, then Flanno would also know this and I doubt he'd be saying **** like "over my dead body" about Val going.
