Im real keen on Woods now, no doubt has his short comings and if dogs are paying a chunk of his freight... seriously rabbits went through us like a knife through hot butter, it was ridiculous the meters per set verses our efforts on Friday night. I’ll back flanno whatever his plan.

Could be what we need to be serious contenders at the pointy end of the season.

I don't think Souths are that good this year, it's just that the other teams in the comp are less good.

A Flanno type bargain and we are laughing on the other hand. I’d also love a few years of hell for the dogs for massive cap mismanagement.

But if we don’t swoop and get a bargain someone else will.

I’m all for the Woods signing, but I’m a little concerned about his price tag.

The Bulldogs will tipping in cash for this year, and probably next. But after that?

He has 3 and a half more years of $800k, and whilst this year we’ll be paying **** all, at some stage we’re gonna be paying full freight.

Or does he take a pay cut to come to us?

One possible reason is that we are apparently competing with Newcastle for the signature who would be willing to cover more of the Woods salary than the Sharks. Whether the dogs can or would stop him signing at one club (Sharks) over another (Newy) for their own cap benefit I don't know. Woods won't be winning a comp at the Knights though. The Kotao thing is surely BS though but Flanno does want Woods.

If the dogs are really paying around $900k a year for Woods they should be done for professional mismanagement and fined for throwing the season

I agree mate, but the problem is that no one at the previous administration is there to take the blame.
