Agree. I’ve brought up the same argument and the main rebuttle was something along the lines of “he’s been coaching for ‘x’ amount of years now, he knows what he is doing”.
Coaching, I’d imagine, would be the same as being a player. They’re constantly learning and trying to get better. When pushed outside their comfort zone, their ceiling is raised, they become better.

I don't usually buy into confirmation biases around referee conspiracies, but f*** that game was hard to swallow.

I'm still amazed that someone was willing to sign Lodge, who the **** would want to cheer that guy on?

That is just the thing, I have read many comments from Broncos supporters. regarding Lodge, going on with crap about him having paid the price, leave him alone, and pretty much saying people are beating a dead horse with a stick because he is back in the game. We say it about many things, but those same supporters would be up in arms if another team such as Sharks, St. George, Rabbits etc had of signed him. They would be saying it is a blight on the game.

Since you raised that point Common I've just had a browse through their forum, its surprising how supportive of the guy they all are, CEO included. You would expect opinion to be at least very divided. At lot of people suggesting sceptics will quickly change their minds if his form warrants NSW selection.
