chad had a good year in 2017 playing in the 6

he had a fair few try assists off the boot as well

if we are to lose jimmy, cronk is the best replacement we could get

What year? 2015 for the Warriors maybe?

Agreed about Cronk. You can't do much more than replace your guy with the current Australian #7.

Maybe Flanno is cranky at Jimmy for continually refusing to hand the tee to ballboys. It is very rude.

Will be interesting to see what happens to players like this next season. Having no U20 competition basically means they play NSW Cup or return to local league. Players turning 19 or 20 in 2018 are impacted the most because they would have still been eligible for NYC but might not be ready to play up in that next tier.

That game is on YouTube btw. Salmon (#6) and Wilton (#17) for NSW, and Mulitalo (#4) from QLD are also Sharks players

I'm in the happy either way camp as well. Would miss Jimmy's goal kicking though

Is that actually true?

Whilst there will be no national under 20s comp from next year, my understanding was that the NSW Cup and QLD Cup teams will now have an under 20s team.

Cronk doesn't want to play forever .
Flanno thinks the youngsters can play first grade level in 18 months , like Cleary from Penrith (he's 19 and played last year )
