The caps going to be close to 20m in 10 years surely,if not more, that's still good money but he could if he's still the same player be earning alot more.

10 years is just too risky for both parties, hopefully there are some clauses for either or both parties.

Still think Cowboys will suck once Thurston leaves.

but he has stability and guaranteed income for next 10 years...if he only signs for 3 years puts on another 20kgs or does his ACL 3 times is career is over thus this way he is guaranteed $10m

Have the cows learnt nothing from manly signing DCE to a massive contract for too long?

This is why those clubs will suck for the next 10 years

The Cows are desperate to keep one drawcard they've got left. Once Thurston goes, they might have Scott but he'll be on crutches. Pongia is gone to the Knights. Not much of a draw card except JT potentially.

Bottom 8 for 10 years now

He's a great player but is he the type you build a team around? Not so sure.

Not a 60 minute player

So this is official now. 10 year deal. I wouldn't be happy with our club going down this path.

In your head, rent free
at a million a season, i would take the punt on Jason

when the cap hits 10 mil which wont be long he will be on 10% of the cap, some people want to give wade 750k which is more than 10% of the current cap

10 years has its concerns, but tying down the best forward in the game, and arguable the best young player with his prime years ahead of him, yes please

It was just reported that Wade Graham is going to test the market!! That's not good.
