My point is they arent great.

I personally would like to see nu brown in the 9 and cook as back up.
"Re Vaughan, Canberra have a great pack so the fact he hasn't been making their side doesn't mean anything. When he does play he does a bloody good job, that's all we care about."
As a bench prop he would do but hes no superstar.

I've been pushing Browns case as much as anyone here, but Cook is a better option to start right now. If anything I'd do it the other way around and put Brown on the bench. We seem to get by using three forwards off the bench anyway, so I think we'd be able to carry a bench hooker/half.
It seems like its all wishful thinking anyway.

can't control what the media puts as their headlines. That's coming from them and not the club. As long as the club is clear in setting the boys their pathways and development strategies then i doubt they have any dramas with it. 2 year deal would suggest that.

2 years is hardly a long term commitment from the club - future ennis replacement bla bla could just be sales speak from our end while Flanno has something else in mind or it could just be journo hyperbole
