DCE jut said Manly offered him a deal he was going to accept last October but management changed and their revised offer was vastly inferior. So I don't feel sorry for them, in fact **** 'em.
he also mentioned the deal at the Titans was worth more money than ours and that he went up there because that's where his family will be more happier
Said we were really close and thanked our club

At a footy function on the weekend and a person supposedly pretty close to Tyrone Peachey stated now the DCE affair is sorted Tyrone is hoping there is room for him at the at the Sharks , I reminded the informant he just extended with Penrith , he replied he has until June .

If that's what Peachey has said to his mate, then he doesn't understand the contract he has signed. Players have until I think round 13 to back out of a deal and stay with their current club. They can't pull out of a deal with their current club. So DCE could back out of the Titans move to stay at Manly but Adam Reynolds can't pull out of his new souths deal to come to Cronulla.

My vote is Maloney. His stats are far better than any other half left on the market.

I dont blame daly for any of it. Sucks we didnt get him. Every knocked his timing, but really theres no good timing. If he didnt tell them there and then news filters out anyway and by monday he states the obvious to his team mates.

Agree. People should be blaming the NRL if they don't like the process. Can't blame a player for looking after his family.

Yeah he gets ****-tonnes of try assists.

But that said, probably that ridiculous team he's in helps. ****ing NSW players on minimum wage. Just pass the ball to an edge and rack up the try assists (Jk though, I like Maloney better than Hodkinson)

I think its time to make Maloney a good offer now.

I think Mitchell Pearce will play himself back into the NSW # 7 on current form.

Taking into account the selectors preference for club combinations, Maloney will go along for the ride. His form is also very good.

His star will rise over the next 8 weeks, and so will his price tag.

He has what we need , lets make a move.

For me Maloney should be our next big target ASAP the price of any decent 1/2 is now gunna go through the roof AND we better quickly make this a place players want to come to ...... and not to retire but because we are a professional well run outfit !!!!!!!!!!! ??????

If we don't we are not gunna be in the game, sre money is important but so is winning and being a part of that culture..

problem is all the quality off contract halves are gonna bid their time and milk their negotiations. We are gonna pay close to carney money for Maloney or Hodkinson. My prediction is we end up with Norman, because Cronulla.

Wasn't Carney on 650k? It will take more than that to get Hodko or Maloney and I'm OK with that.

Nah we'll get Chad Townsend back and spend the rest of the cash on an old second rower.

Yep. 650 for hodko is better than 200 for robbo

We have a need, the talent is there, we have the money. As I've said before don't care if we pay overs, we're desperate for a decent halfback. Also doubt we see the best of Barba until he has a decent half so it's double the reason to get it done regardless of the cost.

Yep i think a halfbacks value doesnt just come from what they can do with the ball, but more so what they add to the squad.
