cool, who is our best back since ET?
Vagana before he came here was better than SKD is IMO although I was still quite young so maybe the tries just stood out and made him seem better than he was.

It's arguable either way.

The point was I'd only seen the question about Leutele to Souths here.

Leutele leaving by itself I'm not a fan of but Leutele leaving so we can get SKD I would be over the moon with.

If we have let leutele go that's a mistake for me. On his day hes a gun centre capable of being our best. His coach was missing and he had an off season. I think we should see how he goes this year and make the call.

I agree with you.

Ricky should be a starting centre in 2015, for me he's shown enough in what was a bad year overall, if I remember correctly he also came back from a serious injury. I'm also leaning towards not worrying about SKD although my hatred for him isn't as strong as yours hahaha. You would assume he'd command a fair bit more coin than Ricky therefore leaving us extra money to invest elsewhere.

I'd be more than happy for him and Beale to be locked in as our centres, then see what happens.

Vagana, dude had a superb try scoring record when he came here.

SKD is certainly capable of an error, probably even had more than Michael Gordon last season, who some people on here don't rate. I'd have him, but it's not like I'll be crying myself to sleep if the rumours turn out to be BS again.

incorrect, and has had less errors than Gordon in the last 2 years

Michael Gordon is the highest profile back we have signed in ages. SKD is a long way above him and Beale is probably higher than him too.

There is no denying SKD would be our highest profile back in a very long time.

Prior to 2014 season Flash would have had less errors, Flash really made up for lost time in season 2014. Lol.

Depends the place the stats are coming from I think.

The stats I have are
Gordon = 20, SKD = 25 (2013)
Gordon = 33, SKD = 28 (2014)

That said, I think NRL had both on 27 errors for the 2014 season.

Comparing errors between a fullback and a centre wouldn't give a clear picture unless you compare their touches of the ball. SKD is called upon when the ball goes to the far right corridor in attack (more or less), where as Gordon has a 1 in 3 chance of the footy coming his way at the end of every set in the shape of a kick sent with the intention of causing a fumble, then you add his touches in attack across the paddock.

A fullback probably will have more drops than a centre, but a lot more touches. So SKD should have better numbers.
