Cash strapped.. I guess our jesting ove getting players for unders has no truth, no wonder fringe 1st graders love us we must be their retirement cash cow, no need to go to England go to the shire. That is the 1st I've read of us being cash strapped in regards to signing players, I'm running with journo waffle.

given the salary cap is allocated by the NRL and we have had guys retire like Ryan, Morris, we had degois set sail early, stapo, CARNEY......we have more spare cash for player signings than any other team (except for Brisbane and Roosters)

I'd also like to know how they are "cash strapped" that is such a load. We are without quite a few players as mentioned, so there is money to be spent. Seems that whenever it comes to the Sharks it is struggling this, no money that blah blah. Such a crock.

$500 k on a guy who hasn't played a game of NRL

Your joking

Proven international player which is a much higher level than nrl so yes. 2 year deal for him IMO at that price would get him here.

I don't know if International RL is a much higher level than NRL. A game or two against Aus and NZ every now and then vs. 26 rounds of NRL intensity.

Hall is a good player but I think a half mill gamble would be better placed on the blokes feeding the wingers, rather than the wingers. Especially now we seem to have an injection of youth in the backs with some more depth rumoured to be on the way.

i would offer him 500k a year. i know big dollars for a winger but fmd this bloke is a game changer. plus is an extra forward due to his size, strength and power. something the sharks i don't think have ever really had.

500k is a bit over the top, I'd offer him 490k max

Seriously though reckon he's one of the best wingers going around, big, confident, fast, strong and can catch the high ball,

would love to see him in sharks colours

International is no where near finals NRL level.. Being successful in NRL is much harder for a whole season! Emphasis on whole season ! Not a few international games a year ....
