A club in our position does not knock back a player like nightingale. Pure and simple. Even at 400k, considering the rest of our backs are on pretty cheap deals, the total backline spend would remain at the right proportions I would of thought.
With injuries and form to consider, choosing a back five from below would be awesome.
Gordon, Holmes, Gagan, Leteule, Feki, nightingale, Bird, Brown.
