interesting in a story about him

While Goodwin gave away the opportunity to play NRL because of his dislike of the city life, it hasn’t diminished his love of the sport as shown by his two best and fairest awards since joining Albury Thunder

He seems to be a tackling machine which wouldn't go astray here. About 24 is he?

Jonathan Rueben (Roosters)

Sam Langi (Roosters)

Sami Sauiluma (Raiders)

All in negotiations.

From other forum. Any of these guys any good?

Don't know anything about rueben.

Have been calling for us to chase langi for about a year or two. Big fan of his, plenty of potential and utility value.

sauluma is as average as they come, not even that young. Stapo well and truly >>>

my mate who knows him said he is 23 or 24, is a machine with a huuuge motor, used to captain the roosters under 20s team but hated the city and reckons he will go close to making the nrl, so hopefully with his brother at the sharks aswell he will kill it

Samisoni Langi CAN play, he'd be a great buy looking into the future. Sauiluma as depth I wouldn't be too worried about, stick him in NSW Cup in case of injuries (He's definitely no Bill Tupou, but he's nothing special from the looks of things). I actually don't know much about Reuben, his contract ends after next year at the Roosters apparently.

Normally i'd agree with not signing veterans but I wouldn't be against 1 or 2 old hard heads just to get us through next season. Unless gallen and lewis decide to put the club first and not worry about rep footy.

EDIT: Forgot we signed ennis..

My thoughts also. I think signing Bailey/Mason for 1 year would help us get through next year. Sometimes a short term solution is required as well.

Would he move South for 1 more year? I would definitely sign him. Older forwards can go up a gear at a new club.

FMD. Have you watched him lately? He is spent. In no way would this signing help our cause. We are starting from scratch. Next year will be a write off.
