Bulldogs official twitter account "CEO @raelenecastle has confirmed the signing of Michael Lichaa & Curtis Rona. Tune into http://bulldogs.com.au/chat to check it out..."

So what we all have known for ages is now official Lichaa will be a dog next year.

**** they got Rona as well? Damn that backline is looking top class, if they get Stewart or Hoffman to go with it, would be hard to stop.

Moot. The word you are looking for is moot.

I actually realised my mistake earlier today, but I was like *meh*. You understood what we were saying, which is all that matters. :gal:

He might get better with Dessie. Hasn't been the best of environments the last 2 years

There are not many fitter sides then the Sharks - Look at Fifita when he came to us overweight struggled to get through 20 minutes, first year he was getting through 25 minutes stints then 30 - last year and this year he is doing 30-35 minute stints and pulling massive numbers.

You look through out the forward pack its not fitness that is a problem, structure in defence and a hesitation to come up quickly is.

Getting cardio fit is a piece of piss if you put your mind to it, just takes hard work, Liccha not being able to go more then 20 minutes at 21 is all on him.

So many sour grapes.
Hopefully that is not directed at me - pointing out a fact about his fitness is not being sour.

I have said on here many times he will be a good player in a few years time.

He lied to the club, think we have the right to be bitter and twisted, because I thought he was going to be the next robbie farah.. Now I know he won't be I'm in a happier place... Go Micky E

FROM THE OTHER FORUM :

I'm hearing Jack Bird(dragons)is very close to inking a deal with the club. A future rep player no doubt. Hard as nails

What position does he play ?

He plays in the back row mate. Believe it or not I thinks it's a position we are now very much in need of. I know some dragon officials are quietly fuming

Do people forget that in 2008 with a team of nuffies we got to one game within the grand final off the back of Noddy being able to kick into space and tackle the kick returning within their 20.

Seriously why do you think Gus wanted Jamie Soward so badly - never ever under estimate the value of a good long controlled kicking game. Its not going to win you a comp on its on but you without one you will never get close.
Agreed. It's the keystone of building pressure, and a tough team with very little flamboyance needs to do just that. We've played most games on the back foot this year, and kicking has been one of the main reasons why I reckon. I wonder what our total tackle count is this year compared to other sides?

The games when Carney's kicking was on last year we looked really good.
