3 Questions/Statements from the other forum regarding Reynolds

Contracts mean nothing when your Coach has lost faith in you.

CB , do we have room under the cap for Reynolds?

We have room under the cap for him this year.

We have plenty of room to move in the cap next year. If Adam reynolds was released, and didn't demand a million dollars we would be right up there for him, IF we wanted him.

I am not sure we would move that way, however. Nu Brown is pencilled in as our 7 for the future and we have 9 sorted for a while.

Haven't seen it posted anywhere, Arona has re-signed for 2 years.

We have re-signed a heaps of 20's players as well.

I have also heard that Val Holmes, Addo-Carr, Jayden Clarke and a few youngsters will be getting a run from round 20 onwards.

ALSO This.

1. You guys supposedly attempting to sign one of our outside backs for next season? Will endeavour to find out who in the next day or two. Must be Eto Nabuli as he is the only one without a contract for next season.

2. Been told it is 3 Panthers backs we are after.

BULLDOGS KEEN TO RECRUIT LOKO
SMH.COM.AU – JUNE 26, 2014
POSTED IN: CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS, JACOB LOKO, KRISNAN INU, NEWS, PARRAMATTA EELS
Jacob Loko

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have expressed interest in snapping up Jacob Loko from arch rivals the Parramatta Eels, although it is unclear when the promising three-quarter will be fit to make his NRL return.

The Bulldogs have been on the lookout for a star back since Ben Barba was granted a release to join Queensland. Despite being contracted until the end of 2016, the Dogs are hopeful the Eels may be prepared to let him go before then to free up salary-cap space.

In a further twist, out-of-favour Canterbury centre Krisnan Inu has been shopped to the Eels. While both players are managed by the same talent agency, there has been no suggestion of a player swap and it is believed the Eels are content with the talent coming through the junior ranks.

Inu and Loko are considered two of the most talented outside backs in the game but, for different reasons, have yet to reach their potential.

Sharks join hunt for Josh McGuire
Courier Mail – June 27, 2014
Posted in: Brisbane Broncos, Cronulla Sharks, Josh McGuire, News

The Brisbane Broncos have moved to secure Josh McGuire until the end of 2017 to stave off a poaching threat from several Sydney clubs, including the Cronulla Sharks.

Queensland selection boss Des Morris will attend Friday’s Brisbane-Cronulla clash at Suncorp Stadium to assess McGuire’s claims for a Maroons debut in Origin III.

Mindful of overtures from Sydney clubs, Broncos hierarchy have launched a counter strike, discussing an upgraded two-year extension with their No. 1 front-rower.

McGuire is off-contract at the end of next season, meaning NRL rivals cannot formally table an offer until November 1 — giving Brisbane a five-month negotiating headstart.
