Moses has been offered 1 mil a year by the dogs and the tigers.

Is he honestly worth that though?
Probably has a top 3-5 kicking game in the game atm. He's a sook, but he can play.

Also depends on the cap going up The cap in 2016 was $6.1m and they said Maloney was on $450k-ish/$500k-ish back then. If the cap is double that in 2023 then it probably makes sense to be paying Moses in the ballpark of double what Jimmy got back then.

Also, for comparison's sake... DCE makes 13.5% of the cap. His contract lists the percentage rather than the number. That was $1.3m in 2022, but if the cap goes up to $12m his salary rises with it to $1.62m. If DCE is getting paid $1.6m you could say Moses @$1m is a bargain.

DCE's manager is a genius.

I’d still go with Cleary/Luai but that’s because I rate Cleary so highly

Do we know that the percentage increase was included in his latest extension? I thought that was just for his massive last contract. Can't imagine Manly went for that this time round.

The extension starts in 2024.

Players and clubs renegotiate all the time though. It’s possible he gave up that part for something else in the new contract.

Yeah you'd have to think it isn't, no way he's worth that coin.

The wheel is turning, even a lot of those Filthy Manly supporters are beginning to want him gone, new coaches, new expectations... Ol Lizard neck be pushed out soon enough. Maybe end of next yr.

Would have DCE here in a heartbeat - albeit on vastly reduced wages
