Does Klem want a part of it ?

Gets him out of Newcastle and he's a free agent after 1 season unless Tiger's show some brains and make an extension part of the deal.

Can't imagine he'd fight against it.

I’d assume they’d be shooting for a few years.
Potentially keeps his lucrative contract going

Looks like west tigers have got there man in klemmer. The swap deal is on for Hastings.

Spewing he isn’t coming to us, we actually really needed him.

I guess Klemmer isn't interested in trying to win a comp if he's going to the Tigers, though he went to the Knights so he's probably never been that interested in it

If the tigers get Bateman as well that starting forward pack is 1000 times better than what they rolled out this year.

There bench is still a massive issue as well as there backline but they will improve a lot IMO over the next 2 years.

Won’t win a comp but won’t be the push over team we’ve done to expect over the past couple of years.

Was that him, lonesome brought the Samoan forward down front on, late, 5 ms out ? One of the genuine Poms, id take immediately. Contrast him with that Pretender Tomkins.

Stopped a barnstorming Junior Powlow 1 on 1. Junior offloaded & they scored but George did all ya could ask of him.

Papalii, Bateman, Ofahengaue, Utoikamanu, Twal, Pole, Blore, Seyfarth I think their pack and into the bench is solid but (from lack of names I know) very shallow after that.

Api, Douehi, Brooks and Staines/Laurie have the capacity to be competent if that pack is playing to potential.

But the backline is absolutely dire unless there are some big improvers.
Staines and Laurie can run okay themselves and probably backup in the middle okay but I don't see them ball playing well enough to contribute more than a runner to the backline. After that I couldn't even guess a best set of wings and centres.
Their best back 5 player being whichever Penrith castoff beats the other for fullback is not a good circumstance.

Yeah George has had a good tournament and was pretty good for Canberra when here. Clubs should definitely have a chat.

We should have a good crack at George for 2024. Release Moylan a year early.
