Stupid decision if we do release him.Take this with a grain of salt.

Lachie miller to bulldogs will be confirmed after Nov 1
But for the sake of his career it’s a smart move. Walks straight into the 1 jersey there imo.

If it’s after November 1 it could be for 2024Stupid decision if we do release him.

Gallen went split captain last year didnt he?You know he will be
Agree I'd prefer he wasn't kept.Gallen went split captain last year didnt he?
Would much rather that (at least)
Or even better would much much rather he wasn’t re-signed at all…..he brings sfa
Only reason i want them to turn him into a lock, free up that left edge for Wilton or even Talakai.Cool with that, so long as we are paying him limited and he’s not taking Wilton’s spot
Dale and Wade Co captains 2023, then tell Nicho he is future captain 2024 onwards, extra incentive to get him to sign on after 2024 alsoI'll tell you what though. Dale is 31 years old himself so his captaincy period can't be too long term either.
Two dummy half system, then move him to lockIf you’re rotating wade and dale, where are you playing McInnes. You could argue he was more consistent then both in 2022.
Wade doesn't have the agility or speed of Walker. If only wade can get fit, ball playing lock in the middle off the bench like what Dylan Walker was doing at manly would be great. Comes on after 20 mins, roam around in the middle as an extra play maker.
I don’t think it’s Dales age it’s more so Wade as a leader hasn’t been the best for us, he is also very laid back - as a captain you should be setting the standard at training etc it’s not a good look when 3 new players come into your club and they outperform and out train your leadersI'll tell you what though. Dale is 31 years old himself so his captaincy period can't be too long term either.
I much prefer thisMakes sense to simply not re sign him. Give him an off field role with the club for the next 10 years.
I love the idea of McInnes going at 9 for the first 20 then Brailey going the last 60.The reality is we are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Graham just doesn't actually fit into the needs of the team any more.
If Mcinnes played hooker when Brailz is fit it would be for 20 minutes max and then he would play most the game as a middle forward as a ball playing lock.
McInnes and Finucane are our ball playing locks not graham and graham is not better than either of them at that role.
Gallen kept high standards even in his last yearAgree I'd prefer he wasn't kept.
Gallen doing that was part of the transition to Wade, he was captain in waiting for years and years.
He'll be capatin if he's kept mate, there's nothing surer.
